GEODYNE OWNERSHIP
Geodyne Transport is owned and operated by the Kemp Family. Jaden Kemp acts as President and actively manages the trucking business with the help of a very capable staff and professional drivers. Judy Kemp is the majority owner of the trucking company and her three sons, Jaden, Janson, and Jordan also have ownership stakes.
Judy Kemp
Judy Kemp continues to operate Geodyne as a tribute to her late husband and founder, Judd. Geodyne is an important source of employment for many families in the Salt Lake City and Ogden areas. While not involved in the day-to-day operation of the business, Judy feels passionately about Geodyne employees and desires financial success and health insurance for them all. Judy enjoys music and has a great talent for the piano. She also likes crafts and shopping. Best of all she is a mother and grandmother to eight beautiful and fortunate grandchildren.
Jaden Kemp
Jaden Kemp received an education in business with a B.S. in Economics from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He has also founded several companies in the Advertising and Real Estate industries. Jaden worked in the family business, Geodyne, for almost 5 years in the 1990s. After graduation from college, Jaden had a solid career of 11 years in the Sales and Marketing field with a focus on business development, branding, retail, and growth. Jaden has directed Geodyne since Judd’s passing in October 2012 and greatly benefits from inheriting his father’s analytical skills. Jaden enjoys family, business, music, golf, skiing, soccer, biking, reading, and riding ATVs in the mountains. Jaden and his beautiful wife, Brooke, have three children.
Janson Kemp
Janson Kemp received his education and doctorate in the medical field from the Parker University School of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Kemp has been a part of two successful practices that focus on health and wellness and sports injury recovery. Janson’s talents are currently enjoyed by Geodyne’s employees and truck drivers as he helps adjust ailing backs and does physical therapy on other nagging pains. Janson’s wife Meagan uses her organizational skills to benefit Geodyne in her role in brokerage and safety. Janson enjoys family, sports, gaming, and excels at the acoustic and electric guitars. Janson and Meagan have two children.
Jordan Kemp
Jordan Kemp received his B.S. in Engineering and Masters of Electrical Engineering from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah. Jordan does programming and project management for L3 Communications. While not currently involved in the operation of Geodyne, Jordan worked for nearly 5 years in office management of the trucking company. Jordan has a very sharp and analytical engineering mind and is always thinking of ways to improve things around him. Jordan enjoys family, soccer, music, electronics, and motorcycles. He plays the drums and has the distinction of being the tallest Kemp. Jordan and his wife, Amy, have three children.
